Michael D. Bywaletz, PE, CPESC, ENV SP, serves as the Western North Carolina Regional Leader / Chief Drainage Engineer in DRMP's Transportation Market Sector. Bywaletz has more than 35 years of experience in the transportation design and hydrological design industry. He is responsible for the project management and design of transportation and stormwater-related projects. His experience includes all aspects of roadway design, drainage design, floodplain analysis, and erosion control performed for multiple state departments of transportation (DOTs), as well as for numerous counties and municipalities through the Southeast.
