Valencia College Poinciana Campus Master Planning and Civil Engineering Design

Valencia College needed a firm to provide civil engineering services for the design of a new campus location.

This project included master planning, engineering, permitting and construction phase services to assist the college in master planning and construction for the first phase of its new campus at Poinciana. The campus is located on a 19-acre parcel located on the eastside of Pleasant Hills Drive, north of the intersection with Reaves Road.  The first phase for the campus includes a 65,000-sf building, central energy plant, associated parking, site infrastructure and driveway connections at Reeves Road/Pleasant Hills Drive intersection and a right-in/right-out driveway connection at Pleasant Hills Drive.

The campus is expected to serve about 2,500 degree-seeking students as well as 1,000 job-training students.
