University of Central Florida (UCF) Northview Student Housing

The University of Central Florida (UCF) chose DRMP to provide engineering services for the student housing mixed-use development that includes 52,374-SF of retail space and 43,800-SF of community space.

DRMP provided master planning, civil design, construction administration and permitting services for UCF’s Carillon. An additional parking garage was also designed for this project. To keep the project moving forward, DRMP worked with the UCF Foundation and a private developer to complete the design which included, roadway, site and utility improvements, a stormwater retention pond and domestic wastewater facilities that were consistent with the project’s master plan. DRMP was especially key in getting the project permitted with the Seminole County, Florida, St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP).

The new student housing complex expands UCF’s student housing options and adds retail space for additional entertainment and amenities.
