Caravelle Ranch

As part of an Outdoor Recreational Facilities Continuing Services Contract, DRMP provided professional engineering services to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for parking and accessibility improvements to the Caravelle Ranch Wildlife Management Area (WMA).  The site lacked sufficient amenities and infrastructure needed to support the main users of the WMA.

DRMP provided site design and permitting for a permanent entrance to SR 19 along with limerock parking, ADA access and an equestrian staging area internal to the site.

The WMA is now able to serve a more diverse set of users with the ADA and equestrian facilities.   This was a much needed improvement over the two-rut road that previously provided access to the WMA.
