St. Joseph State Park Septic Tank Replacement

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) needed a firm to evaluate the St. Joseph State Park septic tank for damages and design new replacement systems. The park, which is located on Florida’s Gulf Coast near Panama City, has three campgrounds with bathhouses that discharge into the systems.

DRMP engineers incorporated larger drainfields and mounded systems in the new design as well as including using much more reliable equipment from the previous design for ease of maintenance. Services also included system upgrades in compliance with current FDEP regulations.

DRMP provided solutions to maintain the St. Joseph State Park fully functional by designing repairs for its septic tank and preventing any pollution from seeping into the Gulf of Mexico.
