SR 710 Florida’s Turnpike Interchange

The SR 710 Interchange was designed to fit into the existing right-of-way, which minimized impacts to a major gas line on the eastside of the Florida's Turnpike. Drainage design services were needed to accommodate multiple discharge points requiring jack & bore of mainline for additional conveyance needs.

DRMP was responsible for the design of this new interchange construction project.  DRMP provided drainage design of two ponds for a new interchange and connector road between the Florida’s Turnpike and SR 710. This system was permitted through the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) requiring close coordination with an adjacent multi-family development as well as Palm Beach County Jog Road. An added interchange to the Turnpike Mainline provides additional access point to the limited access facility.
