Comprehensive Transit Study Puerto Rico 

The Municipality of Coamo in Puerto Rico needed a firm to provide a Comprehensive Transit Study to determine the best possible public transportation system including definition and identification of routes, stops, and the number and type of vehicles.

DRMP was responsible for the development of a transit study to provide an enhanced transit system, the development of a para-transit study, identification of new transit routes and evaluation of parking needs.  DRMP provided an estimation of ridership, rolling stock evaluation and recommendations.

The study provides the Municipality of Coamo with the knowledge and recommendations needed to make decisions regarding the provision of a public transit system and parking in the future to promote economic development and mobility to the community and vulnerable population.
