Megan Weston Joins DRMP as Corporate Recruiter

Orlando, Fla. – DRMP is pleased to announce that Megan Weston has joined DRMP as its Corporate Recruiter.  She will be directly responsible for achieving staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; developing state and local recruiting plans; advising managers through the recruiting, interview and hiring processes, attracting applicants by placing and tracking job advertisements and using job websites (industry-related and large-scale); acting as liaison with recruitment firms; coordinating DRMP career fairs and maintaining open positions in HR Smart and DRMP’s website.

With a background in recruiting, business development, and marketing, Weston has spent almost six years focused in the recruiting industry, including her most recent role as a Senior Recruiter for a large Central Florida recruiting and placement firm. The Florida native received her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida. Weston believes that “relationship-building” is the key to success and strives to accomplish that both in work and in life. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and community involvement with her husband Sky, and 2-year old son Everest.

Weston found herself taking the same advice she’s given to candidates for years but is happy it led her to DRMP. 

“Everything happens for a reason. I’ve told my candidates that for years but hated when I had to apply it to my own life (due to COVID). Amidst a pandemic, I found a new home with a company I’ve respected for years. I’m beyond excited to be a part of this team/family,” Weston said.

As we navigate through an ever-changing job market, Weston's recruiting expertise will be needed to support the increase we are seeing in the implementation of virtual interviewing and recruiting.
