DRMP, just like nearly every A/E/C firm, has had to learn to navigate the current economic climate, new guidelines and all that came with 2021. I am pleased to report that our firm is not only navigating, we have adapted and come out on top.
While this year has had its challenges, DRMP has had many triumphs. I’m excited to share that the firm has expanded its Florida East Coast operations with the acquisition of the Bussen-Mayer Engineering Group (BMEG), a civil engineering consulting firm in Merritt Island, Fla. BMEG has provided environmental, general civil, surveying and transportation services since 1982 and has a fantastic reputation amongst their clients in Brevard County, Fla. This is a great addition for DRMP and I look forward to seeing all we can accomplish together.
Alongside our growth through BMEG, our core divisions, such as our Structural Engineering Division, have been key to our successful year. As you’ll read in our Featured Story, DRMP’s Structures Division – one of the most talented Structures groups in the industry – has also expanded its reach and services throughout the years from Florida to Georgia, North and South Carolina not only because of the innovation and value it continues to provide to our clients, but the mentorship opportunities they provide to their up and coming staff.
While making strategic moves and continuing to push the envelope in the services we provide is vital to DRMP’s success, none of it would be possible without our staff. Our firm has certainly been tested, but by sticking together, making adjustments and doing our best to keep business thriving is a testament to the kind of people DRMP has on its team and the kind of people our clients depend upon.
