US Coast Guard Air Station (Clearwater)

A new liquid oxygen (LOX) storage facility was being designed for the US Coast Guard (USCG) Air Station in Clearwater, Florida.

DRMP provided surveying and mapping/geospatial services to support the design of the new LOX storage facility. This included a 12.5-acre topographic survey and subsurface utility engineering (SUE) activities. The project included 9.5-acres of active aircraft taxiways, aircraft parking areas, and hangar areas surveyed using LiDAR technology. SUE was performed at ASCE 38-02 Quality Level B Standards. Project deliverables included Civil 3D 2020 in USCG CAD Standards.

The surveying and mapping/geospatial and SUE services that DRMP provided to support the USCG facility streamlined the design process for the new LOX storage facility.
