Ybor Basin Outfall – 15th St. Drainage Improvements

DRMP was tasked to develop an XPSWMM model to recommend, design and permit a solution to severe flooding in the Centro Ybor entertainment district of Ybor City, a historic Tampa neighborhood.

DRMP was responsible for the analysis of a new outfall to alleviate flooding problems in Ybor City.  Analysis was performed using the XPSWMM model for recommending a solution for final design. The project design was completed under the 15th Street drainage improvements, which included 1500-LF of 72-inch stormpipe and two rail crossings along 15th Avenue in Ybor City. The project provided flood relief for the Centro Ybor entertainment district.
