Tampa, Fla. – DRMP is excited to announce that David Charles, SIT, has earned his Florida Surveyor in Training certification by passing the Fundamentals of Surveying (FS) Exam. Preparing for the lengthy exam wasn’t easy, Charles enrolled in a prep course that provided a solid base of information and an HP35s calculator.

“The FS Exam was easily one of the hardest tests I have ever taken,” Charles said. “The difficulty for me was not in any one category, but the broad range of potential questions that could be encountered.”

Charles is proud of his accomplishments and looks forward to his future at DRMP.

“I’m looking forward to diving into the mapping world and working with DRMP leadership to be the best version of myself,” Charles said.

Charles plans to advance his career development by closely working with DRMP leadership which is something his supervisor admires.

“Earning his designation is proof of the hard work Charles has put into his career development,” said Vice President Christopher Wild, PSM. “I am excited about his future here at DRMP.”
