John Alaghemand, PE, Promoted to Panama City Beach Office Leader

Panama City Beach, Fla.DRMP is pleased to announce the promotion of John Alaghemand, PE, to Panama City Beach Office Leader supporting the firm’s Transportation Division in Florida’s panhandle region. In his expanded role, Alaghemand will be responsible for working with cities, counties and other government agencies for the development and implementation of their transportation, stormwater/environmental, utilities, surveying, planning and land development programs.

Alaghemand has both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Louisiana. He has worked for both consultants and government agencies in various roles for the past 36 years, joining DRMP in 2015. His vast range of experience includes traffic engineering, structural engineering, planning, public involvement, construction management and stormwater projects, as well as parks and recreation improvement projects. He has a long history of providing excellent program management services for city and county clients including grant management services resulting in millions of dollars for project funding.

Alaghemand has lent his extensive expertise to many DRMP projects, including for clients such as the Florida Department of Transportation and Bay, Escambia, Okaloosa and Walton Counties, as well as Pensacola and Panama City, Fla.
