Orlando, Fla. - DRMP is pleased to announce that Kyle Brown, PE, was elected as a Vice President of the firm by the Board of Directors. His appointment is based on his hard work, determination and for continually making contributions to the firm to be more efficient, effective and successful in serving our clients, employees and the community-at-large.
Brown will continue to serve as DRMP’s Federal Services Manager with responsibilities of overseeing federal project management. Additionally, he manages the firm’s Melbourne office to support ongoing projects along the east coast of Florida.
Brown has 26 years of experience in civil engineering, facility operations and maintenance, and program and emergency management. During his Air Force career, Brown served in various Civil Engineer roles at nine installations around the world, overseeing public works and emergency services at the base and headquarters levels.
“It’s an honor to be selected by DRMP’s leadership to become a Vice President of the firm,” said Brown. “I’m looking forward to having more opportunities to serve the firm’s best interests and find ways to lend my support to my colleagues and clients.”
Brown’s leadership and background have been instrumental in supporting the firm’s federal services as well as its business operations in Florida’s east coast.
“Kyle has been a great asset to DRMP since joining us in 2015 after retiring from the U.S. Air Force by helping get our federal services established and in providing leadership to our Melbourne office,” said DRMP President/CEO Larry Smith Jr., PE, LEED GA. “I know he’s going to bring that same level of dedication and support as a Vice President and continue to make a great impact for DRMP.”
