Kelly Marton, GISP, Promoted to GIS Project Manager

Tampa, Fla. – DRMP is pleased to announce that Kelly Marton, GISP, was recently promoted to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Project Manager.  In this new role, she is responsible for project management, geodatabase design, ArcGIS Online story map development, GPS field collection efforts and data quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC).

Marton joined DRMP in 2015 and has eight years of experience as a GIS Analyst.  She is experienced in transportation and school planning, development review for municipalities, integrating CAD/MicroStation design plans and GIS for construction management and detailed infrastructure mapping.  Marton is a Certified Geographic Information Systems Professional and has a Master of Arts in Web Design and Online Communication from the University of Florida as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Florida.

“Being promoted as a Project Manager is more than just a personal achievement for my professional growth,” said Marton.  “This new role provides me the opportunity to interface with potential clients to further expand our GIS project portfolio along Florida’s west coast and gives me a strong sense of ownership and responsibility over the projects that I will be managing.”

The GIS Department has focused on growth of its service offerings to a broader range of clients for the past several years.
