Tampa, Fla. – DRMP is proud to announce thatProject Manager Pavan Paiavula, PE, has been named the 2021-2022 Chapter Secretary for the Florida Engineering Society (FES) Pinellas Chapter. Previously, he also served as secretary for the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) Tampa Bay Chapter for two years in a row.
As secretary, Paiavula’s responsibilities include keeping an accurate record of the chapter’s proceedings and the executive committee, conducting the correspondence of the chapter. He is also responsible for having custody of books, papers, and records and maintaining a record of chapter members for eligibility for appointment or election.
“This is a great opportunity to be involved with FES and stay in touch with the local leaders, fellow engineers, and clients,” said Paiavula. “My goal is to make this organization more active locally while fulfilling my duties as secretary.”
Paiavula is looking forward to building new relationships as well as serving his community while staying in contact with clients and local engineers.
“I suggest staff and coworkers be part of organizations like these to better their networking skills, and client relationships,” said Paiavula. “Engineering is not just what is learned in school. It is a huge responsibility to serve the community and FES gives me that opportunity.”
