Tampa, Fla. – DRMP Project Engineer Bruno Arriola, PE, was awarded the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) Steven J. Tidwell Award at the January ASHE Tampa Bay Chapter Luncheon. This award is chosen by the outgoing president and honors an individual who exemplifies the ASHE mission and has contributed their efforts and time to serving the Tampa Bay section as well as the transportation industry.

“I have been an ASHE member for years and have been serving in the Board in different positions, so receiving this award was very gratifying and a reward to the commitment I have toward ASHE,” said Arriola.

Arriola has served the Tampa Bay Chapter of ASHE in many roles, including secretary and membership chair. He was also the recipient of the ASHE Young Engineer of the Year Award at the 2017 Tampa Bay Engineers’ Week Banquet. Arriola has been with DRMP’s Tampa, Fla. office since 2013 and has contributed to the development of the area by lending his engineering expertise on many DRMP projects throughout the years.
