Brian Smith Named Employee of the Quarter
January 25th, 2022
Asheboro, NC – DRMP is happy to share that Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) Area Leader Brian Smith has been named DRMP’s most recent Employee of the Quarter.
Smith, who joined DRMP’s Asheboro, NC office in 2019, was chosen as Employee of the Quarter for fostering strong client relationships, building a team of talented individuals and leading significant CEI project wins in North Carolina.
“Brian has proven to be a great asset to the entire North Carolina CEI team,” said DRMP Vice President Robby Walker, CCM. “He is extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help. He is a trusted resource to our clients as well, as evidenced by the three major project wins in the last six months that he led for DRMP. We are very fortunate to have Brian on our team and I’m very excited to see what his future holds.”
Smith not only prioritizes developing client relationships, but his peers and staff as well, said DRMP CEI Area Leader Marty Tillman.
“Brian and I first met as students at North Carolina State University in 1985 and he has been a good friend to me ever since,” said Tillman. “From college throughout our NCDOT careers and now at DRMP, I have been able to call on him for engineering advice regarding highway construction and maintenance. He is highly respected by his peers and he’s always willing to put aside what he’s doing to help anyone in need.”
