Tampa, Fla. – DRMP is proud to announce that Project Manager Pavan Paiavula, PE, has received the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) Engineer of the Year Award from the Tampa Bay Chapter for his continued active involvement with the organization throughout the years.

Paiavula previously served as ASHE Tampa Bay Chapter’s Secretary, Vice President, and President. He is currently serving as the Past-President for ASHE since 2021. Paiavula is also serving as Secretary for Florida Engineering Society (FES), Pinellas Chapter since 2021.

“I’m proud of my involvement with ASHE and excited to be recognized with this award,” said Paiavula. “I’m grateful for organizations like these that allow us engineers to better their networking skills and client relationships while we continue to serve our communities."

As president, Paiavula was responsible for chairing the Chapter’s board of directors, presiding at all meetings, nominating a recipient of the Distinguished Service Award, developing agendas for board and executive committee meetings, appointing chairpersons for all standing and ad hoc and special committees. Paiavula has been a member of the ASHE Tampa Bay chapter since 2015.
