Jim Highland, PE, Promoted to Traffic Division Manager

Orlando, Fla. – DRMP is pleased to announce that Jim Highland, PE, has been promoted to Traffic Division Manager. As Traffic Division Manager, Highland is responsible for leading DRMP’s team of traffic and intelligent transportation systems engineers to provide safe and efficient traffic engineering systems for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and municipal clients throughout the southeastern United States.

Highland started his career with DRMP as an intern and became a project engineer specializing in traffic engineering upon graduating from Southern Illinois University in 2002.

"I’m grateful for all the opportunities DRMP has provided me throughout the years," said Highland. "I’m excited to lead and work for the continued growth of the traffic department and firm as a whole."

Throughout his nearly two decades with DRMP, Highland has experienced much career growth. He was named Orlando Traffic Engineering Department Manager in 2011 and Vice President in 2017.
