Tallahassee, Fla. – DRMP is pleased to announce that Megan Whitmore, PE, has been promoted to Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) Northeast Florida Area Leader as its CEI services continue to grow in the region. In this new role, she will be responsible for supporting CEI operations for DRMP’s Northeast Florida area along with responsibility for marketing and business development to grow the firm’s presence in the area, project management, technical oversight and mentoring of CEI staff, managing client relations and managing quality assurance/quality control to verify project compliance.
Whitmore is an Auburn University graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Florida and South Carolina. Since joining DRMP in 2020, Whitmore has served as a Project Engineer for FDOT District Two’s LAP Projects, FDOT District Three Emergency Repair Projects after Hurricane Sally, and the SW 62nd Boulevard Resurfacing Project for the City of Gainesville, Florida.
“I am very excited about my new role at DRMP and look forward to continuing to support our growth into Northeast Florida,” said Whitmore. “My career aspiration has been focused on becoming a team leader and that achievement is extremely important to me because now I have the opportunity to not only support clients that I have created relationships with, but I can also support career growth for other staff in the area.”
DRMP’s growth for its CEI services in Northeast Florida has been a goal for a few years.
