October 19th, 2022

Jacksonville, Fla. – Survey Analyst Daniel Hutton, SIT, has earned his surveyor-in-training (SIT) designation. He joined DRMP’s Jacksonville, Fla., office in 2019 and has been working toward this accomplishment.

The University of Florida graduate, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geomatics, said he studied for many hours to pass the Fundamentals of Survey exam.

“Earning this designation is a proud moment in my career,” Hutton said. “I’m glad my hard work has been rewarded and I can continue taking steps to grow with DRMP.”

In his short three years at DRMP, he has provided surveying services on many projects, including projects for various Florida municipalities and educational institutions, such as the University of Florida and the University of North Florida.

Hutton’s supervisor, Project Manager Randy Tompkins, PSM, said he is proud of the dedication he has shown to advance his technical capabilities.

“I’m excited to see Daniel’s hard work paying off,” Tompkins said. “He is a valued member of the team and I look forward to seeing his growth as a survey professional.”
