Tampa, Fla. – Project Manager Pavan Paiavula, PE, has been named the 2022-2023 Chapter Treasurer for the Florida Engineering Society (FES) Pinellas Chapter. Previously, he also served as the chapter’s secretary for the 2021-2022 term.

As treasurer, Paiavula’ s responsibilities include maintaining budgetary accounts for the chapter and its members; submitting financial statements to be audited by the executive committee; maintaining custody of all chapter funds; acting as comptroller of chapter accounts; and preparing annual budget for approval by board of directors. Paiavula has served as the president, vice-president, and secretary with the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) Tampa Bay Chapter and is currently acting as Past President.

“I’m thrilled to continue my involvement with FES and network with the local leaders, fellow engineers, and clients,” said Paiavula. “My goal is to continue making a difference in my community through professional society involvement.”

Paiavula is looking forward to building upon the foundation of his existing relationships, as well as creating new relationships while staying in contact with his community’s clients and local engineers.

“I suggest all engineers to join professional societies to enhance their relationship building capabilities,” said Paiavula. “Engineering is not just what is learned in school. It is a huge responsibility to serve the community and FES continues to afford me that opportunity.”
