Orlando, Fla. – As part of its strategic growth, DRMP is promoting Robert M. Walker, CCM, to Executive Vice President of Construction Services. In this role, he will provide oversight and guidance for DRMP’s Construction Services Division, where needed. Additionally, Walker will focus on corporate initiatives focusing on operational improvements and efficiencies. He will also be responsible for furthering the development of safety-first initiatives corporatewide.
Walker joined the company in 2001 as a Senior Inspector and moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2013 to continue the growth of DRMP’s Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) services outside of Florida. Walker was instrumental in helping open three additional offices in North Carolina. He was promoted to Division Manager in 2017 to provide leadership to all CEI Managers, oversee the Division’s annual budgets and business plans, provide project quality assurance/quality control, and continue growing DRMP’s presence by providing construction services throughout the Carolinas and Florida regions. As a leader, Walker has served on the strategic planning and steering committees and now serves as a member of the Executive Committee.

Walker’s promotion is part of DRMP’s implementation of its strategic plan to leverage its leaders into roles to support the firm’s future growth, said Glenn Lusink, PSM, President.
