ORLANDO, Fla. – In line with its strategic growth initiatives, DRMP is promoting Colette Moss, PE, to Executive Vice President of Transportation. She will provide oversight and guidance for DRMP’s Transportation Division, where needed. Moss will also work to implement corporate initiatives that focus on professional development and training for the firm’s transportation staff and will be responsible for assessing quality assurance/quality control practices across DRMP’s market sectors.
Moss has gained invaluable experience and knowledge in transportation engineering and leadership in the 33 years since she joined DRMP as a Roadway Engineer in 1990. She was later promoted to Orlando Roadway Department Manager in 2003, where she oversaw staff, project management, and business development for the firm’s most robust transportation region in Florida. Moss was named a Vice President in 2005.
Moss’s role in leading DRMP’s transportation expanded in 2014 when she was elevated to Transportation Division Manager where she managed the daily operations of DRMP’s Boca Raton, Orlando, and Tampa transportation departments and supported the growth of DRMP’s transportation engineering presence throughout the state of Florida.
“I got to where I am through hard work and dedication, but also with the support of my leaders. I’m grateful to pass on what I know to help our staff be successful,” she said. “My vision is to continue to provide support to our staff and be a resource to help them build their career experience through learning and development, mentorship, and coaching. I would like to help our staff be the best they can be.”
Moss said she will be able to combine her institutional knowledge in working with DRMP’s clients across Florida and her love for mentorship to coach various market sector groups and individuals on how to better manage projects and develop strong client relationships.
Moss’s promotion is part of DRMP’s implementation of its strategic plan to leverage its leaders into roles to support the firm’s future growth, said DRMP President Glenn Lusink, PSM.
