DRMP Ranks on Zweig Group’s 2023 "Best Firms to Work For" List
June 7th, 2023
ORLANDO, Fla. – DRMP’s People First work culture is reaping benefits as the firm continues to be recognized as a top A/E/C firm to work for in the Southeast United States.
DRMP ranked as one of the best firms to work for in the A/E/C industry among firms with 200 or more employees on Zweig Group’s 2023 "Best Firms to Work For" list. The Zweig Group also recognized DRMP as a top firm to work for among civil engineering firms.
The Best Firms to Work For award recognizes the top firms in the United States and Canada based on size and discipline, as well as their workplace practices, employee benefits, employee retention rates, and much more. Winners are based on a combined score from the Corporate Survey and the Employee Survey.
“It is an honor to be recognized as a top firm to work for in the A/E/C industry,” DRMP President Glenn Lusink, PSM, said. “Our employees are essential to our firm’s success, and it’s important to our firm that we cultivate an enjoyable and supportive working environment that meets the critical needs of our employees and their career development. I’m pleased to see our commitment to our employees’ career growth, well-being, and job satisfaction are paying off.”
DRMP focuses on fostering a positive and supportive work culture by providing a flexible working environment and offering attractive career, health, community involvement, social, and financial benefits for employees.
To encourage employees to practice healthy habits for positive well-being, DRMP implemented engaging wellness incentives throughout the years, including its Healthy Steps Initiative, Wellness Wednesdays, annual health fairs, weight loss programs, and updating its corporate gym equipment, among other efforts.
Earlier this year, DRMP received a Cigna Gold-Level Healthy Workforce Designation for the fourth consecutive year for demonstrating a strong commitment to improving the health and well-being of its employees.
Creating greater connection among DRMP’s more than 600 employees is also important to the firm. DRMP provides social activities for its staff that involve annual cornhole and ping pong tournaments. Additionally, employees enjoy summer socials, food truck events, local sporting events, and many special holiday activities throughout the year.
The firm also supports its staff’s career growth and development by offering a multitude of training activities, workshops, and certifications, such as the Certified Survey Technician (CST) program and Project Management training.
Through the DRMPCares program, the firm offers several opportunities for employees to both volunteer and participate in charitable giving initiatives that give back to those in need in our communities and for the firm’s employees to be involved in causes that are meaningful to them.
“Our goal is to continue to be a destination employer, one that not only provides the best professionals in the A/E/C industry but also supports its employees above all,” Lusink said.
