East Coast Regional Trail Bridge Fabrication Inspection

This project was a design-build pedestrian trail project with a length of 0.56-mile, including bridge approach ramps and a 160-foot steel truss pedestrian bridge over Garden Street in Titusville, Florida. Prior to shipping and setting, the steel truss materials and construction were inspected to verify compliance with contract plans, shop drawings and the contract specifications.

DRMP NBIS inspectors provided field inspection and bridge inspection services on-site and at the production facility in Abingdon, Virginia multiple times during the fabrication process. DRMP’s NBIS inspectors completed all work on time and per contract terms.

Both on-site and in the fabrication shop, our inspectors verified material specifications, member dimensions, the quality of construction and the work was in accordance with the contract plans, shop drawings and specifications.
