NW 5th Avenue Feasibility Report

Gainesville Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) sought a firm to provide transportation feasibility services for undergrounding the overhead utilities along NW 5th Ave in the College Park District of Gainesville, Florida.

The feasibility study included developing schematic exhibits for several scenarios along with accompanying order of magnitude cost estimates.  DRMP’s study focused on relocating the overhead utilities, however, bicycle, pedestrian, safety, drainage, landscape, hardscape, and beautification improvements were explored as well.

The CRA was able to use this information to solicit informed public feedback and gain direction and support for the future project.
