Noel v Ford Motor Company Laser Scanning

DRMP was hired to collect data, including data from pavement and guardrail damage from an automobile crash that resulted in a lawsuit.  Data needed to be collected at the scene of the accident, but Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise prohibits any field staff, including surveyors, from standing in the travel lanes of their high-speed facilities.

DRMP’s expert survey staff used terrestrial static LiDAR to quickly collect accurate data on the surface of Florida’s Turnpike travel lanes from positions outside of the paved roadway, ensuring the safety of survey crews and roadway travelers

Valuable information was quickly and safely obtained for the client to move forward in their case while following the Florida Turnpike Enterprise’s safety requirements.
