DRMP was tasked to provide design survey, subsurface utility engineering right-of-way survey, control and right-of-way mapping services for two major intersections. The project also included 3-miles of right-of-way mapping along US 192 (SR 500) in Brevard County, Florida.

To meet the proposed project schedule and for the safety of our survey staff DRMP mobilized one of our survey vehicles equipped with a Riegl VZ400 scanning unit mounted on top of a TopoLift Laser Scanning Platform. Design survey was collected at off peak hours between 10 pm and 4 am.

As a result of our dedicated survey staff and utilizing LiDAR technology the design surveys for both intersections were delivered on schedule. Our survey crews were able to provide full 3-D survey from the safety of their vehicle without disrupting the normal flow of traffic.
