September 10th, 2025

ORLANDO, Fla. – Congratulations to Structures Engineer Aliyah Ramos on her election to the 2025–2026 American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) East Central Branch (ECB) Young Member Forum (YMF) Board of Directors.

Ramos will serve as marketing chair. In this role, she will manage ASCE YMF’s social media presence, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, to promote events, share updates, and highlight member achievements. She said her involvement in ASCE has helped her build strong professional relationships and grow as an engineer. She joined ASCE ECB YMF shortly after graduating from the University of Central Florida (UCF) and has maintained an active role in the organization ever since.

During her four years at UCF, Ramos held several leadership positions, including vice president, community service chair, concrete canoe proposal captain, and concrete cornhole captain. She credits ASCE as a key contributor to her professional development and growth at DRMP.

“My involvement allows me to strengthen my professional development, network with other industry professionals, and stay engaged with the local engineering community,” Ramos said. “Being part of ASCE also provides opportunities to serve the community, attend technical seminars, and build relationships that benefit both myself and DRMP.”
