DRMP Promotes Bruno Arriola to Tampa Assistant Roadway Group Leader Amid Infrastructure Growth
October 20th, 2025
TAMPA BAY, Fla. – Bruno Arriola, PE, ENV SP, has been promoted from project manager to assistant roadway group leader as DRMP continues to grow its regional services and create opportunities for advancement within the firm.
In this new role, Arriola will help manage the roadway team and oversee project execution, mentor junior staff, ensure quality and schedule adherence, coordinate with other groups, support business development, and represent the firm in professional and community involvement activities.
Tampa Roadway Group Leader Pavan Paiavula, PE, said Arriola’s promotion reflects his consistent contributions and strong leadership within the team.
“Bruno has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence, collaboration, and leadership since the very beginning of his career at DRMP,” Paiavula said. “His promotion reflects his technical expertise, his ability to build strong client relationships, and his dedication to developing those around him. We’re proud to see Bruno take this next step, and we’re confident he will continue to make a positive impact on our team, our clients, and the communities we serve.”
Roadway Division Leader Todd White, PE, said Arriola’s promotion comes at an exciting time for DRMP’s Tampa operations.
“Bruno’s promotion comes at a time of real momentum for the Tampa roadway group, with Pavan leading the team to recent major wins in Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 7,” White said. “I’m confident Bruno will help drive our growth and strengthen our team as we continue delivering impactful solutions for the region.”
From an impact and influence perspective, Arriola said he will use this opportunity to elevate his team, recognizing that his own success and growth are closely tied to theirs. He described his promotion as an important milestone.
“I am excited to have a leadership position that will help me contribute and be part of the growth that the Tampa Bay region is experiencing,” he said. “The growth in our region is being driven by major state and regional investments in infrastructure projects, and at DRMP, we have the knowledge and right staff to help bring these public infrastructure projects to life and enhance our communities.”
Arriola began his career at DRMP in 2013 as an engineering intern (EI), working on a wide range of transportation projects for clients such as FDOT and various municipal agencies. These projects have ranged from small to large.
In his early years as a project engineer, Arriola developed a strong technical foundation, learning design criteria, engineering standards, and plans production using various Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) platforms. As he gained experience, he began supporting projects as a deputy project manager and eventually advanced to project manager where he led projects for multiple municipal clients.
“This promotion represents the next step in my professional career and growth within DRMP,” he said. “It is an affirmation in DRMP trusting me to take on greater challenges and giving me the opportunity to take my skills to a higher, more impactful level.”
