JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Congratulations to DRMP Jacksonville Survey Project Manager Randy Tompkins, PSM, PLS, for being installed as Vice President of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Jacksonville Post.

Tompkins was sworn in as Vice President on Wednesday during a meeting installing the Jacksonville Post’s 2023-2024 officers and directors.

As Vice President, Tompkins will be responsible for supporting the Post’s President and organizing the annual Industry Day Conference.

“I am honored and excited to serve in the role of vice president,” Tompkins said. “SAME has helped me grow professionally as a leader and has opened new networking and collaboration opportunities with other industry professionals. I’m looking forward to another great year.”

Tompkins has been involved with SAME for six years of which five were spent serving as the organization’s Director of Rewards and Recognition. In 2021, SAME Jacksonville Post named Tompkins as “Member of the Year.”

“I’m proud to be a part of SAME. It’s been a great avenue to use my expertise to give back to the profession,” Tompkins said. “This organization helps professionals like myself stay on top of current industry trends and changes, so we can better serve our clients and communities.”
