US 98/US 441 at Taylor Creek Bridge

US 98/US 441 at Taylor Creek Bridge was a rehabilitation project located in Okeechobee County, Florida. The FDOT District One needed a firm to provide CEI services to oversee the project that affected an average of 10,600 daily drivers.

DRMP was selected by the FDOT District One to perform CEI services for this bridge rehabilitation project, which consisted of structural, mechanical and electrical repairs; structural steel painting, control house renovation, slope repairs, expansion joint replacement and restoring spalled areas on SR 15/700 (US 441/US 98), Bridge No. 910054 (Taylor Creek Drawbridge) over Taylor Creek in Okeechobee County.

Bridge repair and rehabilitation will provide the Taylor Creek Bridge structure with a longer service life that will support its thousands of daily commuters. Additional safety upgrades will create safer conditions for motorists using the SR 15/US 441 corridor.
