Millbridge Subdivision Structure Inspection

Millbridge Subdivision is in the Town of Waxhaw (Town), North Carolina, just outside of Charlotte. In 2016, the subdivision was in negotiations with the Town to transfer structure ownership to the Town. Prior to a transfer, the Town required an in service bridge inspection and a load rating analysis.

As mandated by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the State of North Carolina, the structure is required to be inspected once every 24 months. In addition, the NCDOT mandates these inspections be accompanied by a load rating analysis.  DRMP provided a NBIS inspection and a load rating analysis for this structure in September 2016. 

All work was completed on time and per contract terms. Subsequently, the Town accepted ownership of the structure. All work was completed on time and per contract terms. Subsequently, DRMP was selected to provide these same services to the City of Charlotte in 2018.
