Museum Road Steam Line Replacement Surveying Services

The University of Florida was preparing engineering plans for a steam line replacement project.  As a continuing services consultant for the University, it was requested that surveying and mapping as well as subsurface utility engineering services be provided to support the project which is situated along a 1-mile corridor through the middle of the campus.

DRMP utilized GPS and conventional survey methods, we established the project control based on the UF existing control network and other published control points. We then designated the underground utilities and collected the topographic features needed to create the design survey.

DRMP surveyors provided the University’s facilities staff with Civil3D design files for their use in preparing construction engineering plans for this steam line replacement project.
