We are more than Engineers—we are volunteers.
Just in the last year, our employees have extended their helping hands to support many different efforts. We are proud to make a difference in the communities we live and work in, big and small. Our Lakeland office employees volunteered to help revitalize the downtown. One of our employees assisted the Santa Fe Little School with a gardening grant from the Florida Association of Environmental Soil Scientists.
Many DRMP team members have also given their time and effort to organizations such as Stand Up to Cancer, Miles for Moffitt, Heart of Florida United Way and more. We walk and fundraise for charity 5Ks, we do STEM and construction outreach.
We are more than Engineers—we are networkers.
Getting out there and sharing ideas with other industry professionals helps us grow. In the last year, DRMP team members have attended over 50 networking events, workshops, career fairs, presentations, conferences and more. Our team members have given crash courses on construction, engineering and transportation at Construction Career Day events. On a regular basis, DRMP employees present at APWA Lunch and Learns and SAME meetings.
We are more than Engineers—we are family.
We welcomed over 150 new team members in 2018. Although many new faces are joining our team, our employees tend to stick around for the long haul. Over 20 percent of our employees have been with us for over 10 years. Also, in this past year, we opened new offices in Atlanta, GA and Mooresville, NC. Our offices in Charlotte and Cary, NC and Boca Raton, FL all moved to accommodate growth and expansion.
