Florida’s Turnpike Mainline Existing Roadway Condition Assessment Report (ERCAR)

DRMP was responsible for Existing Roadway Condition Assessment (ERCAR) preparation for Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise on their Mainline from MP 239.3 to 249.3 and various southbound and northbound ramps at CR 525, US 192/441 and Osceola Parkway.

DRMP's structural engineers evaluated all structures including bridges, bridge culverts, farm crossings, box culverts, sign structures, mast arms, strain poles and high mast lighting within the project limits to determine if current design criteria was met.  Specifically, structural engineers provided evaluation of existing bridges (three mainline, 10 over mainline), six bridge culverts, one farm crossing, sign structures, strain poles and mast arms. After analysis, recommendations with associated costs were provided in the ERCAR report.

These measures assisted the Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise in maintaining their Mainline to improve their roadway systems for the traveling public.
