Palm Beach County Existing Roadway Condition Assessment Report (ERCAR)

DRMP was responsible for Existing Roadway Condition Assessment Report (ERCAR) preparation for Florida’s Turnpike Mainline from MP 106.1 to MP 111.7 to provide evaluation of seven existing bridges (one on Mainline and six over Mainline), one bridge culvert, seven box culverts, five overhead cantilever sign structures, two overhead span sign structures and one mast arm signalized intersection.

DRMP's structural engineers evaluated all structures including bridges, bridge culverts, farm crossings, box culverts, sign structures, mast arms, strain poles and high mast lighting within the project limits.  These structural elements were analyzed to determine whether they were compliant with current design criteria; if not, recommendations with associated costs were provided in the ERCAR.

By providing analysis and recommendations in the ERCAR report, the FTE improved the safety of their roadways for the traveling public.
