ORLANDO, Fla. – DRMP has promoted Ryan Pellarin, PE, CCM, to new Florida CEI Leader as the firm continues to carry out its strategic expansion in the Southeast region.
In this new role, Pellarin will be responsible for leading CEI operations in Florida, growing the technical and leadership abilities of the team through training and mentorship, and leveraging technology and industry expertise in solving clients’ toughest challenges.
“I look forward to taking on this new role and becoming involved with all the excellent CEI work being performed across the state,” Pellarin said. “We have amazing people that have the right attitude of ‘do whatever it takes’ to get the job done.”
Pellarin began his career at DRMP in 2016 as a Senior Project Engineer and has been instrumental in growing the CEI group with the support of the firm’s leadership.
“Our workload and diversity of clientele around the state has followed that growth,” Pellarin said. “Our team is my focus and will continue to be as we grow. The key to our future success will be to properly position our team to take advantage of the recently announced increase in Transportation funding and taking care of our existing clients.”
DRMP Construction Services Director Erica Jernigan, PE, said Pellarin's leadership is not only commended by DRMP but by the firm's clients as well.
Jernigan highlighted Pellarin's coordination and skill in a particular project, a Florida Department of Transportation District 5 Local Agency Program (LAP) contract she believes gave DRMP an edge.
"The work on that project requires a good bit of coordination within our team and with multiple clients as Ryan works for both the local agencies and FDOT,” Jernigan said. “His leadership on this contract led to the team winning the contract when it was re-advertised and has also led to us winning work working directly for some of those local agency clients.”
That is just one example of Pellarin’s work ethic that will carry over and help him excel in his new role.
“The leadership Ryan has shown at the area level has highlighted the passion he has in taking care of our team and our clients,” Jernigan said.
