TAMPA, Fla. – Congratulations to Pavan Paiavula, PE, for being elected president of the Florida Engineering Society (FES) Pinellas Chapter.
In this role, Paiavula will preside over society meetings, represent FES in public and professional forums, and oversee programs, events, and initiatives.
Paiavula has been a member of FES for more than five years. Prior to being elected president, he has served in the roles of secretary and treasurer.
He said his goals are to enhance member engagement and professional development, strengthen the chapter’s visibility and impact, and support the next generation of engineers.
“It’s an honor to lead the FES Pinellas Chapter and to have this opportunity to collaborate with our members, enhance their experience, collaborate with other societies, increase our efforts to support the community, and focus on STEM activities for Pinellas County schools,” Paiavula said.
Roadway Division Leader Todd White, PE, praised Paiavula’s exceptional leadership and active involvement in professional organizations.
“Pavan has consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership and dedication to the engineering community,” White said. “His commitment to mentoring others and supporting the profession through professional involvement makes him an excellent choice to lead the FES Pinellas Chapter.”
White highlighted Paiavula’s contributions through the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) Tampa Bay Chapter, where Paiavula served as president, vice president, and secretary and his participation in the Florida Engineering Leadership Institute (FELI) program.
“With Pavan at the helm, the chapter is well-positioned to enrich the experience of its members and the broader engineering community,” White said.
