Behind just about every project at DRMP, you will find a hard-working intern that played a part in its success while gaining skills and industry insight. We not only provide real-world industry training, but we also celebrate them along the way. We want to make sure they know that not only do their leaders and peers appreciate them, but companywide we are grateful for them as they achieve success and the success of the firm.  

This past month in honor of National Intern Day, we took time out companywide to celebrate our interns throughout DRMP’s offices. They received a red-carpet VIP experience that included the chance to spend invaluable one on one time with our leaders.

And, in our first-ever DRMP Ewire Intern issue, we’re highlighting some of our phenomenal interns and leaders who were once interns themselves.  You’ll learn about the valuable lessons and experiences of our current interns and current leaders, who were once interns themselves. The once-in-a-lifetime experiences and exciting opportunities that took former intern now DRMP GIS Analyst Meaghan McCarthy to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and gave intern Abby Rains the experience of co-leading a statewide industry conference workshop is also featured.

We all have a responsibility to support the next generation of industry professionals. I’m proud of DRMP’s legacy of being a firm that invests in its interns’ professional growth by providing a “seat at the table”.
