Executive Brief: October-November 2023 Issue
November 30th, 2023
Looking back at the significant year of growth and development at DRMP, I'm truly grateful for the collective effort that made it all possible. It's encouraging to see our team coming together companywide and adapting to changes that better align with our strategic goals. The dedication of our employees has not only helped fuel our growth but has enhanced opportunities for their career growth, our clients, and the community in new and exciting ways.
Behind the scenes last year, DRMP’s leadership implemented bold changes in our business operations by strategically connecting our service lines to encourage collaboration to enhance our project outcomes for our clients. We are now reaping the benefits of not only serving our clients better, but it has also led to the elevation of some of our employees who have been promoted to management roles. As DRMP grows, so do the opportunities for our employees
As you’ll learn in our Featured Story, we have added new experts to two of our service lines. Along with those new leaders, we have added new talent and expertise through our merger with Ramey Kemp & Associates (RKA), which will help elevate and expand our business in the Mid-Atlantic region.
On a broader scale, we celebrated our one-year anniversary of establishing a partnership with the Trilon Group. The strategic partnership has made way for project collaboration with fellow partner firms. In October, leaders and project managers under Trilon’s Transportation Platform met for our first in-person Trilon Transportation Summit, and I’m optimistic about the exchange of ideas our leaders are having for us all to reap the benefits of our collective talent and expertise.
All these efforts help us provide the best and most efficient services possible for our clients.
I am also grateful for the opportunities that allow us to give back to our communities through community involvement. Supporting the community through our work and embodying a spirit of generosity has always been a part of what defines DRMP as a firm. One such event was our first-ever Charity Bike Build, a new initiative DRMP led with our partner firm CPH. Together, our two firms assembled new bikes to help children in our communities in preparation for the new school year. Personally, it was rewarding for me to step away from the business side of things and put a bike or two together knowing it would provide joy for a child and much-needed relief for parents struggling to make ends meet. I’m proud of the way our staff continues to show up to make a difference by participating in events like this and many others supported by our offices.
Though our staff knows the work they perform every day for our clients and our communities is what makes DRMP successful, I want to personally say thank you for your continued commitment. To our clients, those who have worked with us for several years, and those who are working with us for the first time, thank you for choosing our firm.
Here's to a promising year ahead!
