DRMP Promotes Gabrielle Davis, Elevating Communications Leadership
August 7th, 2025
ORLANDO, Fla. – DRMP has promoted Gabrielle Davis from Corporate Communications Group Leader to Assistant Corporate Communications Manager at its Orlando headquarters. In her new role, she will lead the firm’s external communications strategy, aligning it with business development goals and ensuring the brand remains visible and consistent.
She will also take on greater responsibility for team operations, enhancing workflow efficiency and supporting the team’s overall performance. As a manager, she will continue mentoring staff and supporting their professional growth.
“Gabrielle has been a steady, skilled presence on our team for over a decade,” Corporate Communications Manager Julia Lindstedt said. “She’s a strong editor and communications practitioner whose work consistently reflects quality and purpose. Her leadership will only strengthen our team and our message.”
Before joining DRMP in 2013 as the first hire for the Corporate Communications team, Davis was a newspaper journalist covering some of the most dramatic and tragic stories in Central Florida. There, she honed her ability to craft factual, compelling stories under tight deadlines, skills that made her transition into public relations a natural fit. She later held roles at a nonprofit and another A/E/C firm before bringing her expertise to DRMP.
Over the past 12 years, she has played a key role in developing how the firm communicates its brand – both internally and externally.
A career achievement during her tenure has been producing the firm’s digital newsletter, eWIRE.
“For years, I was the core content producer who interviewed, wrote stories, and led its redesign to better reflect our brand,” Davis said. “Watching it grow into a reliable platform has been rewarding.”
More recently, Davis co-developed a quality control process that helps the corporate communications team manage content more efficiently while upholding high editorial standards.
“It’s making an impact on how we collaborate and deliver consistent messaging that reflects DRMP’s reputation,” she said.
Davis is most excited about stepping more fully into a strategic leadership role.
“I’ve been a professional writer for more than 20 years, so shifting more into operations and leadership is a challenge I’m ready for,” she said. “I’m excited to align our work even more closely with DRMP’s business goals and to keep supporting the development and visibility of our team.”
The best part of her job remains the people she works with.
“We have a smart, fun group, and there’s nothing better than seeing great ideas come to life,” Davis said. “Supporting their growth and seeing them step into that ownership is one of the most fulfilling parts of leadership for me.”
