DRMP Expands Cybersecurity Team with Key Analyst Promotion
April 17th, 2025
ORLANDO, Fla. – As DRMP’s Information Systems Department continues to grow and strengthen its cybersecurity capabilities, Bruce Miller II has been promoted from technical support analyst II to cybersecurity analyst.
This promotion is a key part of DRMP’s continued expansion of its IS Department. The department’s growth enhances internal career development opportunities while strengthening the firm’s ability to better serve employees and clients with consistently reliable, secure systems and faster support.
In his new role, Miller will use Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to detect and investigate security threats in real-time, assess incidents, and implement response plans. He will also proactively search for threats, analyze attack trends, and conduct regular scans to identify and fix system vulnerabilities. Additionally, he will maintain incident reports, risk assessments, and documentation for audits and leadership briefings, collaborate with teams on secure system design, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies like National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
Service Support and Cyber Security Manager Orville Williams said Miller’s promotion reflects both his technical excellence and strong dedication to protecting DRMP’s network and employees.
“His role is critical in conducting daily cybersecurity operations, performing vulnerability assessments, and ensuring our policies and procedures meet the highest standards,” he said. “Bruce's work not only safeguards client data but also reinforces our company's dedication to investing in top talent and securing our digital infrastructure.”
Miller holds CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, and CySA+ certifications and brings hands-on experience in monitoring systems, detecting threats, and responding to incidents in real-time. His background includes working with key cybersecurity tools, such as SIEM platforms (CrowdStrike), intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners.
“I’m passionate about protecting digital environments, staying ahead of emerging cyber threats, and continuously advancing my skills to help DRMP and our Trilon partner companies strengthen their security posture,” Miller said.
He’s working toward earning a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity and assurance from Western Governors University with completion expected in September of this year. He said his promotion is a result of his determination and commitment to his career goals.
“This promotion is significant to me because it demonstrates that hard work truly pays off,” Miller said. “Investing in myself and staying committed to my goals has proven to be rewarding. I have also learned that even when something seems difficult to obtain, if you want it badly enough, you will do whatever it takes to achieve it.”
