Executive Brief: Growth Takes Leadership – And We've Got It

April 30th, 2025

The growth of our firm is the result of several years of industry insight, experience, and strategic planning—but even more so from leaders who believe in DRMP’s vision, understand where we're headed, and consistently explore unique ways to get us there.

Recently, leaders from across our offices came together to align on growth priorities and discuss how we can better serve our clients and communities. What stood out during those conversations was not only the depth of technical expertise in the room—but also their forward-thinking mindset. These leaders convert opportunities into action, whether that means expanding our presence in key regions, strengthening cross-discipline collaboration, or forging new client relationships.

This approach aligns closely with insights from the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), which emphasizes the importance of empowering leadership at all levels and across locations. ACEC further notes that firms establishing strong regional networks and investing in leadership development are better equipped to adapt to change and drive sustainable growth.

Increasingly, business development is a shared discipline extending beyond traditional roles or titles. Our continued growth depends not just on winning work, but on cultivating lasting partnerships, anticipating client needs, and consistently delivering excellence. That kind of engagement—across service lines and leadership roles—is what keeps us competitive and connected.

We're approaching 50 years in business, but in many ways, it feels like we're just getting started. That’s the dedication I see firsthand from our leaders—people who are genuinely committed to building the future of this firm, together.
