LeeVista Westside

DRMP was tasked to lead the production of a Developmental Plan for the 14.5-acre, 6-lot subdivision in the 1,956-acre Lee Vista Development and the oversight of the infrastructure design, construction plans and permitting. The project soils, which contained a large amount of silt, required grading plans that kept the roadway high enough to keep the base out of the seasonal high-water table allowing us to minimize the use of underdrain.

DRMP staff conducted interagency coordination between the City of Orlando, Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC), FDOT and St. Johns River Management District (SJRWMD). The project work also included a mass grading and unsuitable material removal plan, environmental assessment report and design of a 2-lane roadway, stormwater, potable water, sanitary sewer and reclaimed water systems.

DRMP stood by this project in all phases, coordinating with multiple permitting agencies so that the project would reach completion smoothly. The project provided a variety of sites that included restaurants and a gas station for the LeeVista Center residents and visitors that arrive via the Orlando International Airport.
