DRMP provided topographic survey services for the City of Jacksonville’s Hart Bridge to properly deconstruct the elevated ramps of the bridge and construct new connections so drivers could access the nearby sports complex area, which includes TIAA Bank Field Stadium, home of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars, at the ground level. The modification also allows commuters to access Gator Bowl Boulevard, a major thoroughfare in downtown Jacksonville.

Due to the congestion of the project area, DRMP’s mobile LiDAR services allowed data collection for the elevated roadway portion, surface streets, overhead sign placement and maintenance of traffic to be collected without placing field personnel on a heavily traveled roadway.

With the support of DRMP’s mobile LiDAR services, the project will move forward with the most accurate data collected safely for the design phase of the project.
