DRMP Grows Information Systems Team with New Analyst Role

April 17th, 2025

ORLANDO, Fla. – Malcolm McLaughlin has been promoted from Information Systems (IS) intern to technical support analyst in DRMP’s growing IS Department.

In his new role, McLaughlin will support employees across DRMP and its parent company, Trilon, by resolving technical issues, setting up user accounts and system access for new hires, maintaining IS asset records, and helping ensure systems are operating smoothly.

This promotion is part of DRMP’s ongoing effort to expand its IS Department. The growth not only provides more opportunities for internal career development but also improves the firm’s ability to serve clients through more reliable systems and faster support.

“Technology is only as strong as the team behind it,” said Orville Williams, service support and cyber security manager. “By growing our IS Department, we’re supporting our staff more effectively and laying the groundwork for even stronger service to our clients.”

Williams said McLaughlin’s promotion highlights his strong work ethic and versatility.

“In addition to managing day-to-day support responsibilities, he plays a valuable role as a backup to the cybersecurity team, a dual contribution that strengthens both our internal support model and overall security posture,” Williams said. “His growth is a testament to our ongoing commitment to fostering talent and leveraging technology to support the business.”

McLaughlin is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity from Western Governors University. He previously served six years in the U.S. Marine Corps as a motor transport operator, coordinating the movement of personnel and resources.

He said he hopes to continue building on his technical knowledge and eventually grow into a cybersecurity analyst role.

“This promotion feels like a major step in my career and gives me hope for my future in this field,” he said.
