PruittHealth Skilled Nursing Facility - Tallahassee

DRMP was tasked with providing civil engineering design services for PruittHealth’s Skilled Nursing Facility, a 97-bed building in Tallahassee, Florida. Many tasks, including permitting and regulatory standards, had to be completed before construction on the new facility began. The site included particular grading constraints and soil conditions, which required strategic site planning and grading with areas of cut of over 25-feet.

DRMP applied grading techniques to reduce the visual and financial impacts of major retaining walls by “stepping” down the site. DRMP worked with the local agency and Agency for Health Care Administration for permitting.

DRMP’s site design resulted in an environmental considerate approach to managing site grading and tree preservation.
